Join Amy for this colorful image inspired workshop packed with ideas, techniques and inspiring insights on building unique and signature color palettes for your design work. Amy will begin with an inspirational presentation on how she works with color and creates her unique color palettes. Then Amy will guide you as you create a collage from your personal inspirational images, fabrics, ephemera and photos. From this collage you will pull specific colors to create your own unique color story.

Material List

• A wide range of inspirational materials that capture the color that your eye is drawn to. You will use these items to create your collage. These items can include (but are not limited to): magazine tears, printed photos, fabric swatches, ephemera that will be easy to collage with - ribbon, washi tape, etc., anything beautiful that catches your eye that you can collage with
• A wide selection of paint sample cards from your local hardware store. Amy recommends picking one brand of paint and collecting one of each color swatch available. You will probably have at least 100 paint sample cards. Everyone in the class will "pool up" their swatches so you can pick from a wide variety of colors.
