
A day where we will focus on food styling and natural light food photography. Aran will guide you through her personal process of procuring, styling, creating, and photographing various dishes using some of her best-loved props and favorite finds. This workshop is directed at anyone looking to improve their plate styling skills for entertaining and for food bloggers who would like to take their online images to the next level.

- digital camera (with battery and memory cards)
- battery charger
- laptop with USB cable to review images
- food styling props you’d like to use in your shots (bowls, plates, mugs, flatware, serving pieces, linen, fabric, etc; I will have some items available but I encourage you to bring your own)

Aran Goyoaga

Aran Goyoaga is the writer, stylist, and photographer behind the award-winning blog Cannelle Et Vanille. Named second best food blog in the world by UK’s The Times and one of Gwyneth Paltrow’s personal favorites, Cannelle Et Vanille is also part of Martha Stewart’s “Martha’s Circle” of blogs.
Aran was born in Bilbao, in the Spanish side of the Basque Country, surrounded by the Pyrenees on one side and the Atlantic on the other. She grew up in her grandparents’ pastry shop, which is still run by her family. She studied Business and Economics and even received an MBA, but she realized pastry was her passion. She enrolled in culinary school when she moved to Florida and worked for many fine dining restaurants and hotels. She left the professional kitchen when she became a mother and soon after started Cannelle Et Vanille. She currently resides in South Florida with her husband and two children and is working on her first cookbook, which will be published by Little, Brown & Co in fall 2012.
