Sweet Paul Makerie
April 16 & 17, 2016

The URBN Corporate Campus is the home for our 2016 Sweet Paul Makerie. The Navy Yard is a dynamic, sustainable urban campus that arose from the remarkable transformation of the former Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, one of the nation’s oldest shipyards. Built from the shell of a dilapidated navy shipyard in Philadelphia, the 100+ year old campus of Urban Outfitters has breathed creative life back into the once industrious building complex with exquisite design elements, fresh plant life throughout the space, and all of the special, thoughtful touches you expect to find when you step into an Anthropologie or terrain store. This magnificent 350,000+ sqft campus, designed by Meyer Scherer & Rockcastle, provides an epic backdrop for the URBN brands including Urban Outfitters, Free People, BHLDN, Anthropologie, and terrain, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to host part of our retreat in such an inspiring and specatucular space.

eats

Our meals during the retreat will combine some of Sweet Paul’s favorite recipes alongside URBN’s farm to table cuisine. Using hand-selected local produce, meats, and dairy products, menus will be crafted from the seasonal and sustainable harvests of local, known, and trusted farmers. URBN’s talented culinary team will create an experience all on its own, with mealtimes ranging from family style gatherings to a beautiful buffet. Meals are always a highlight at our retreats, as it’s a special time to get to know the awesome creative community that will be gathered. If you have special dietary requests, all you have to do is say the word. Anything can be accommodated!
