We are thrilled to announce our brand new retreat ~ the Makerie Sewing. This inaugural special event focuses on textiles and sewing, both hand and machine, featuring fantastic workshops taught by renown teachers from around the country. The retreat design has a unique format where participants have the opportunity to take four different classes throughout the weekend (16 hours total), providing the chance to experience a wonderful variety of projects and techniques lead by outstanding teachers. The event is limited to an intimate group of participants.

In addition to the workshops, we provide wake-up yoga and hiking, as well as healthy, local, organic (where possible), yummy foods as part of the weekend so each person feels nurtured all around. Our creative getaway makes special efforts to be kind to the earth, as we strive to make thoughtful choices in the event planning process and during the event itself.
