COTTAGES
You will stay in one of Chautauqua’s cozy cottages, each with a unique history and charm. Greeted by meadows and mountains outside your front door, the cottages range in size from 1-3 bedrooms, and have a fully equipped kitchen and screened-in front porch. There are several efficiency cabins and single rooms available for an additional cost if you are interested in having a space all to yourself. Just contact us for more information! Beds are adorned with comfy, handmade quilts, and sleeping arrangements will range from queen or single beds to pull-out couches. If you have any special requests, please let us know in writing when you submit your application and we will do our very best to accommodate you. If you have a roommate or bed-sharing request, please provide that information in writing as well, and submit your applications together. Cottages will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
FOOD
Meals for the weekend will feature local and organic choices (where possible), along with scrumptious homemade goodies of course! Mealtimes will range from family style gatherings to gourmet boxed lunches served picnic style, and are a wonderful time to connect with your fellow campmates. OUR FARM CHOICE
The Lyons Farmette, where our Summer Series will be held, is a working farm in a magical setting that is whole-heartedly dedicated to local and sustainable practices. They grow a wide and wonderful variety of organic produce and flowers, where chickens, goats and even a lovely llama call home. A beautiful river runs through the property, shaded by gorgeous, towering trees that create a most peaceful and intimate setting. Betsy Burton & Mike Whipp ~ owners of the Farmette ~ purchased the property with the intention of establishing a community center in Lyons, Colorado, bringing together their passions for art, locally-grown food, education and environmental sustainability. We love and admire how they continue to nurture their growth in thoughtful directions and can say with certainty it’s one of our very favorite farms in the Boulder area.
