Weaving is filled with possibilities - but sometimes it’s best to start small when learning a new craft! In this class we will create distinctive and personal pieces of wearable art on a manageable, portable scale. Using a simple miniature handmade loom and natural, plant-based fibers in an array of gorgeous colors, and maybe a bit of vintage sparkle, you will weave a one-of-a-kind necklace pendant and leave the class wearing it! You’ll also take with you a small handbook with everything you need to know to continue your newly begun weaving journey.

About Sarah

Sarah Neubert is a fiber artist, mother, gardener, air drums enthusiast and aspiring mystic. She grew up working with fiber crafts of all kinds, but weaving is her true heart’s work. The wild world is her main source of inspiration, and she approaches her personal work as a collaboration with unique natural fibers that often have a voice of their own. Sarah finds a special joy in sharing her love of weaving. She encourages her students to have a sense of curiosity and adventure as they begin to explore the limitless possibilities within the world of fibers. Sarah is also the founder of The Weaving Kind, an Instagram community that provides monthly weaving challenges, inspiration, and an opportunity to connect with weavers around the world. On a typical day you can find Sarah at home in Colorado, chasing her kids around the neighborhood, avoiding emails and keeping all the windows open, even in cold weather.
