Have you ever noticed the stunning shapes and patterns inherent in fruits and vegetables? I can't wait to show you how to create stunning, modern patterns with everyday, accessible tools that can be found at your local grocery store. We will learn how to carve and create stamps from these everyday objects; share tips, techniques and the best materials for stamping them on fabric; and create stunning surface designs that can be made into anything you can dream of. In this workshop, our patterns will be created using white paint on varied, solid color fabric to create a beautiful modern result. As an option, the patterns created in this workshop can be used as a canvas for my second workshop, Artful Iron-Ons, where you can add dimension to your fabric using thread and beads.
